For that situation I have come up with a fantastic solution. You can convert your Laptop or PC as your personal Wi-Fi router in order to share the Internet Connection without buying additional hardware.
This post will tell how you can convert your wireless network as your personal hotspot in order to share your Internet Connection with another PC or device. I was wondering if this task is possible. But when I tried for it, I found it quite interesting and easier.
Hardware Required
We are covering this post only for Windows and the only hardware required is that your PC should have installed with a wireless networking adaptor properly with certified drivers for the windows. However most of the drivers are certified and all laptops come with the Ethernet and wireless adaptors.
Case 1 : If you are using an Ethernet cable, then you should have installed the both network adaptors as well.
Case 2: If you are using a USB dongle in order to connect to the Internet, then there is no need of Ethernet adaptor.
How to make my PC as Wi-Fi hotspot ?
After the requirements, you will need to download an application called mHotspot. This is a free software application which allows you to convert your wireless network into the Wi-Fi hot spot. ou can download this application from www.mHotspot.com.
Just download the application and after the downloading, you need to configure it as shown below.
Step 1 : Run the Application as Administrator.
Step 2 : Give a Name to the Network.
Step 3 : Choose a password in order to protect the unauthorized use of this network.
Step 4 : In the Share From option, Choose the existing Internet connection. You can choose the maximum number of clients that can share the network.
After doing this, you are ready with your router and click on the Start Hotspot Button in mHotspot application. You will get notified with the message like this. Check your network connection to confirm the router.
